Born from faith and love

Our journey began in 2016 with the birth of our daughter, who was born with Down syndrome and Ebstein Anomaly of the Tricuspid valve. A cardiologist's comment "she kind of got a double whammy" sparked my response from Psalm 139:14, I cordially replied "I know who made her and He doesn't whammy anyone, she is fearfully and wonderfully made!" This truth became the bedrock of our mission. In the quiet hours of hospital waiting rooms and therapy visits, I found solace and purpose in crocheting. This hobby evolved into teaching children about Down syndrome, connecting the "extra" stitch on the 21st chromosome with a loving God who meticulously counts every detail. We started creating crochet animals as gifts for missionary kids and others that needed encouragement, and the overwhelming positive response inspired us to add simple Gospel tags, ensuring each gift pointed back to the Master Creator.

At 'Created on Purpose,' we believe all creation reflects the glory of God. We believe that God is the ultimate Master Craftsman, and we are made in His image. Our deepest desire is to use the unique gifts and talents He has bestowed upon us to share the profound message of redemption for His creation through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Our creations primarily focus on animals, chosen for their ability to bring immense joy and comfort to children, and indeed, adults of all ages. Their unique and charming personalities resonate with many, and each one is crafted with love, carrying with it our message of faith and the Creator's boundless love.
